Derick Burgos has over 20 years experience fishing, was born in Hialeah, Fl. and spent all his summers in Puerto Rico as a kid where his addiction for fishing began. Soon after moving to Tampa Bay he was introduced to kayak fishing and has not stopped since. His passion for fishing lead him to guiding where he can share that passion with others. In addition to guiding, he is also a successful tournament angler with several wins and top 3 placings.

Most charters provide all bait and tackle. Be sure to bring your own food and beverages. Coolers are usually provided to store your food in, but keep in mind that it may get wet.

Feel free to bring cameras but the captains are not responsible for them or any damage that could occur throughout the duration of the trip.

Hats and sunscreen are recommended to keep safe from the sun. Sneakers are the best recommended footwear on boats.
